Esther Stegall Goss, C.P.A.
Esther, a longtime resident of Fayette County, joined Brown Nelms in 2012 as a staff auditor. Esther strives to deliver superior service to our audit and review clients.
In 2001, Esther obtained a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University. She continued taking business and accounting courses at Clayton State University, ultimately earning a Master of Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration in May 2013. She was at the top of her class, receiving numerous scholarships and recognitions. In 2014, Esther received her C.P.A. license.
With 20 years of experience, Esther began her career in accounting early. She spent 14 years as an integral part of an Atlanta-based general contractor, where she managed daily accounting functions, financial projections, contracts, and monthly closing. She has worked on construction projects of all sizes, including joint ventures. This expertise is beneficial in Esther’s role as a staff auditor at Brown Nelms.
Esther is a member of various professional organizations including the Georgia Society of CPAs, the National Association of Women in Construction, and Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society. She also serves on the Council of the Young Leadership Program of the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.
In her free time, Esther enjoys swimming and spending time with her husband and two children.
